This is a representative supporting project for Xingyuan Electric in the semiconductor-equipment industry (anonymized; figures below are representative descriptions, not specific contract data). The client is a domestic semiconductor-equipment maker needing high-cleanliness precision sheet-metal chambers and racks, with strict requirements on particle control, deburring, stainless passivation and assembly cleanliness.
1. Industry specifics & challenges
Semiconductor sheet metal is not an ordinary enclosure: it lives in a high-cleanliness environment where any stray particle, burr or residual oil can hurt yield. The hard parts are weld-distortion control, burr removal, consistent stainless passivation and clean assembly management.
2. Our solution
We used low-distortion welding with a reasoned weld sequence and post-weld correction to hold chamber flatness within drawing limits; all parts were deburred and edge-smoothed with inner cavities cleaned and protected; stainless parts were passivated for corrosion resistance and surface consistency; key fit surfaces were flagged and inspected separately. All methods come from publicly available clean-sheet-metal standards — no restricted grades or confidentiality claims are involved.
3. Representative project parameters
| Control item | Our practice |
|---|---|
| Weld distortion | Low-distortion process + post-weld correction, flatness per drawing |
| Particle control | Full deburr, inner-cavity clean & protected |
| Stainless surface | Passivation for corrosion resistance & consistency |
| Assembly | Clean-area assembly + protective packaging |
4. Outcome
After the sample passed the client's cleanliness and dimensional acceptance we moved to small-batch supply; first-time assembly fit improved and rework dropped. The process route later became our standard method for semiconductor-equipment sheet metal and extended to other high-cleanliness industries such as medical and optical equipment.
5. Compliance note
Xingyuan Electric undertakes semiconductor-equipment sheet metal per publicly available general standards and methods. Projects involving specific grades, confidentiality or special-equipment qualifications follow the end-user's confidentiality rules and are implemented only after the end-user confirms. We do not claim specific restricted production qualifications.
